Moldovan PM to visit Germany

Prime Minister Iurie Leanca will leave for Berlin on 9 July, following an invitation by German Chancellor Angela Merkel to pay an official visit, according to the eighth issue of the Infogov magazine, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.

The sides will discuss more items on the bilateral agenda, especially Moldova’s European prospect. Following the meeting, the officials will make press statements. Subsequently, Iurie Leanca along with Angela Merkel will participate in a dinner. A framework agreement on Moldovan-German cooperation in the development sector is also to be signed during this visit. The aides agreed on the matter at a recent visit to Moldova by German Minister for Economic Development Gert Muller.

This issue of the magazine provides more room to events related to the signing of the Association Agreement between Moldova and the European Unions, signed by Iurie Leanca in Brussels and subsequently ratified by the Moldovan parliament. In the same context, the editorial team gives answer to the question: „Where will the Association Agreement ticket bring us?”.

The same issue contains a story by a resident from Paris, who is preparing to launch a brand of clothes for children titled „made in Moldova” this summer. „This is a French brand designed for Moldovans and made in Moldova. My trump is creativity and quality. I will create unique products that do not exist on the local market,” Parisian Gwennela Mercier Nica, said.

The magazine is worked out and designed by the government’s communication and media relations department and may be accessed on the webpage: http://www.gov.md/doc.php?l=ro&idc=628&id=7891.
