“Today, on the World Press Freedom Day, I’m glad to ascertain that the mass media in our country became an indispensable component of the public life, gaining their daily presence and civic position. The information flow does not remain stagnant, while the people’s need to be informed is increasing. This is also a proof of the role played by the media and I’m glad that the mass media are constantly at the top in our confidence rankings. This is a fact that earns you honor and also makes you more responsible,” says the congratulatory message.

Iurie Leanca thanked the mass media for their contribution to modernizing Moldova and to its integration into the EU.
