Almost 36K Moldovan citizens went to EU over a month of free visa regime

Over a month of the free visa regime, 35905 Moldovan citizens went to the EU, nine of which were denied access to Europe for various reasons. According to the Border Police, the majority of border crossings were registered at the Leuseni customs point – 14525. 12752 Moldovan citizens, holders of biometric passports, left the country by air. Moldovan citizens got right to visa-free entry to the EU countries (except Great Britain and Ireland) on the basis of biometric passports for a period of 90 days within six months. click
