Everyone will be able to visit Parliament Building on Independence Day

On the Independence Day marked on August 27, the Parliament Building will open its doors to all the visitors, on the initiative of Speaker Igor Corman, IPN reports.

According to the Parliament’s press service, between 9am and 5pm, the visitors will go on a tour of the renovated building and will have free access to the assembly hall, the conference hall and the repaired offices. They will be accompanied by Parliament functionaries who will provide information about the legislative body’s work and the lawmaking process.

On the occasion of the Open Doors Day, the visitors will be able to discuss with MPs and to leave messages with their expectations of the Parliament’s work in the Suggestions Book.

Those who want to visit the Parliament Building are expected at the main entrance from Stefan cel Mare si Sfant Blvd at 9am on August 27. An identification paper is required.

On August 27, the Parliament Building will open its doors to the public for the second time. The first Open Doors Day was held on February 15, when Parliament was visited by over 2,000 people.
